Intro

Explore how marketing strategies align with business objectives and how marketing decisions impact other business functions.

Developing a holistic perspective of businesses and organisations teaches you how to make informed business decisions. Marketing topics you can explore include communications, planning and strategy, market research, consumer psychology, plus international and cross-cultural marketing. 

Our Business Management with Marketing degree develops your understanding of key business and marketing functions. After your first year you can continue to specialise in marketing, or have the freedom to switch to our general Business Management degree, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, human resource management or law specialisms. You also have the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience and earn money with an optional placement year.

Entry requirements

A-levels or BTEC

Entry requirements are in the range of A-level BBB–BCC (120–104 UCAS Tariff points), or BTEC Extended Diploma DMM–MMM. Our conditional offers typically fall within this range.

International Baccalaureate

26 points, with three subjects at Higher level.

Access to HE Diploma

Pass with 60 credits overall. At least 45 credits at level 3, with 24 credits at merit.

T-level

Merit in the Management and Administration or Digital Business Services T-levels. No other T-levels are accepted.

Foundation degree/HND

May enable you to start the course in year 2. Relevant subjects required. HNC may also count towards direct entry.

Studied before or got relevant experience?

A qualification, HE credits, or relevant experience may count towards your course at Brighton, and could mean that you do not have to take some elements of the course or can start in year 2 or 3.

English language requirements

IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each element. We accept IELTS One Skill Retake scores that meet our entry requirements. Find out more about the other English qualifications that we accept.

Our Business Management BSc(Hons) with integrated foundation year provides an extra year of study at foundation level if you do not have the academic qualifications or experience needed for entry to this course.

Successful completion of the foundation year enables you to progress onto year 1 of this degree.
